Why create a video?

  • Be seen. A video in Google’s index is 53 times more likely to appear on first page search results and video has more potential to be shared and become viral than any other medium.
  • Hold attention. People retain 58% more with both visual and auditory stimulation.
  • Sell yourself. 59% of senior executives prefer to watch video over reading text, and 65% of them have visited a vendor’s website after watching a video. Overall, the average person is 64% more likely to purchase after viewing a video than those who have not.
  • There’s never been more demand. Video is the fastest growing medium and it is estimated that 2017, video will account for 69% of all consumer internet traffic, and video-on-demand traffic alone will have almost trebled.

A Professional Promotional Film for Your Business

How do we start?

First we can arrange a no obligation meeting to discuss the project. Many clients will have a rough idea of what they would like to include, and I work towards your brief and deadline whilst providing creative suggestions where necessary. Once I have established the number of days work, I will provide you with a quote including a breakdown of costs involved with my daily rate.

Production

I work around you to film the material. I use my own full range of equipment including top of the range cameras, audio recording and lighting equipment. Using industry documentary techniques to bring the story to life. I  capture all the aspects which create the essence of your project and ensure that each shot has the best visual photographical appeal. I will usually be the one filming, directing and recording sound. In some rare circumstances, some shoots may require an additional crew members and I work with other professional freelancers as and when required.

Post-Production

The editing follows soon after, using professional software I cut down interviews and create fluid sequences which intrigue and hold the audience’s interest. I keep you updated by sending you draft clips of the work in progress to allow us to make the needed adjustments leading to the final product. I then export the video in the highest quality format and convert to the required format ready for distribution.

Timescale

I usually film and edit a standard 5-10 minute promotional video within around 5-10 working days depending on the complexity of project, planning, any alterations, and any additional extras required. News style items can be filmed, edited and online the following day.

Additional Options

All videos have the added option of hard subtitles which are transcribed professionally and can be styles as is required. These will affect the timescale but are recommended because they will improve the accessibility of your videos not only by translating Welsh but also for access to the Deaf community. If you require on-screen BSL, this can also be discussed and I have contacts within the North Wales Deaf Society who would be more than happy to discuss your needs.
